Electrophysiology

The treatment of arrhythmias aims to regulate a heart rhythm that is too fast, too slow, and/or irregular.

These public health issues affect a large portion of the population and can manifest with symptoms such as shortness of breath, fainting, or they can be asymptomatic, with potential risks associated if left untreated.

For example, atrial fibrillation, which can be asymptomatic but nevertheless potentially responsible for an increased risk of ischemic stroke.

The interventional electrophysiologist observes rhythm disorders, identifies them, and implements therapeutic treatment.

Dr. Sana Amraoui is a renowned cardiologist and cardiac electrophysiologist specializing in the management of heart rhythm disorders.
