Electrophysiology
The treatment of arrhythmias aims to regulate a heart rhythm that is too fast, too slow, and/or irregular.
These public health issues affect a large portion of the population and can manifest with symptoms such as shortness of breath, fainting, or they can be asymptomatic, with potential risks associated if left untreated.
For example, atrial fibrillation, which can be asymptomatic but nevertheless potentially responsible for an increased risk of ischemic stroke.
The interventional electrophysiologist observes rhythm disorders, identifies them, and implements therapeutic treatment.

Interventional Electrophysiologist
The Physician Sana Amraoui is a cardiologist and Cardiac Rhythm Specialist, specializing in rhythmic cardiac pathologies. She was trained in hospitals in Bordeaux and London in Electrophysiology (diagnosis and treatment of heart rhythm disorders).
She currently practices as a cardiologist and Cardiac Rhythm Specialist at the American Hospital of Paris in Neuilly-sur-Seine, as well as at her private practice located in the Tour Cœur Défense, on the esplanade of La Défense.
For optimal diagnostic and therapeutic management of cardiac rhythm disorders, she emphasizes the use of the latest innovative techniques.
